DESCRIPTION:June 13 & 14th. 9am-3pm \nWe love kids coming to the farm and being part of our fun farm camp! For these two days in a row your little “farmer at heart” will join us for two fun-filled days of getting to know the farm animals\, harvesting crops to make their snacks\, learn a bit about agriculture and create lots of fun arts & crafts (all supplies are included). And in between they will have fun playing games and just getting dirty on the farm! We hope they leave with a bit more appreciation for farming\, fresh produce and lots of fun memories. \nThis event is perfect for ages 6-9 years old. If your child does not fall into the age range but you think they would enjoy it\, please email us to confirm ahead of time. It is usually no problem but we like to ensure expectations are met! Thank you. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact us ahead of time at Info@MellanoFarmStand.com. \nAttendees bring a packed lunch from home. DESCRIPTION: April 6th & 7th \nThe warm weather is here and the berry field is ready for you to come and fill your bucket with delicious red berries! The opening of the season will coincide with our Spring Festival and then the fields will be open Thursday-Sunday from 10:30am and the last field entry at 4pm. Usually the season lasts through the summer but stay tuned for details as we rely on Mother nature for those dates! \nA strawberry bucket which includes entrance to the field is $10. Upgrade to a large bucket – $15. Entry into the field without picking is $5. \nThe strawberry field is towards the back of the farm so walking on uneven surfaces is necessary to enjoy this season’s strawberry u-pick. Bring the troop for a fun afternoon at the farm which will include a run through the corn maze\, a short discussion on the life cycle of a seed which will include them planting their own sunflower\, a craft\, and the kids will take home a small pumpkin!
