Mellano Farm Stand – 5714 North River Road, Oceanside 92057

Join us for a hands-on, artist-led Printmaking & Lino Cut Workshop with a moody, Haunted Botanical twist during our Pumpkin & Marigold Harvest Festival!

Come early to explore the festival grounds, wander through the pumpkin patch,, and enjoy all the fall fescatch live music, enjoy local food trucks and more before settling in to step into the darker side of nature.

Draw inspiration from eerie florals, thorny vines, dark foliage, and gothic botanical motifs to create your own hauntingly beautiful relief prints.

Lino printing (linocut) is a classic technique where designs are carved into linoleum blocks using specialized gouging tools—the raised areas hold the ink to create crisp, repeatable prints. In this extended session, you will design and carve two separate blocks: a smaller block customized for your 5-pack of stationery cards, and a larger block scaled for your canvas tote bag. You’ll keep both custom carved blocks plus a complete guide packed with all the information, tips, and techniques you need to keep printing at home!

From design transfer and carving safety to ink rolling (brayer technique) and heat-sealing fabric, you’ll master the full process from start to finish while sipping on a refreshing, handcrafted fall mocktail.
